We were picked up in SF at 12:30 and made it to the airport by 1:00, we were pretty early so no one was in the upper class check in line. Very quickly are bags were taken and we were off to the lounge. The woman at the front desk greeted us warmly and gave us a tour. We found a pair of red chairs to watch the planes and were quickly offered a drink and chips. We aren't big drinkers so settled for a ginger ale. The menu for lunch offered a nice variety of choices and I had the cream of tomato soup and the rocket salad with beets. The dressing on the salad was excellent. The soup was good. Steve had the burger and it tasted great. We settled in with a couple of lattes and relaxed as the club house filled up a bit more. The floor manager made sure to say hello to everyone.
We went to the priority line and it was fine, a bit crowded but we got right on Cosmic Lady with 366 others.
The flight crew was fantastic, we were welcomed aboard with drinks and shown our seats 14 and 15A. The front cabin was very friendly and people we chatting with each other. We went back to look at the bar but never made our way back. The mid section of upper class seemed tight for space.
The FSM came by to say hello to all of us individually and told us about the service. She was extremely friendly at all times and made herself available. The plane was a bit worn and the Vport took a while to warm up. Also, I ended up with the Chinese menu a few times

Dinner service started with a Gazpacho as an Amuse Bouche which was very tasty. I started with a Corn Chowder while Steve had the Salmon appetizer. The soup was fine, the salmon looked better. We both had the beef, it was tasty, the sauce and vegetables were very good. We each got the cheese cake for dessert and then enjoyed the cheese course together at my seat.
We did not get the much mentioned new amenity kit so unfortunately no new pen

Steve put his sleep suit on which looked very comfortable and I was already comfy in what I was wearing and we had our beds turned down. Our hope was to get as much sleep as possible. I probably got 3-4 hours. The flight had a few bumps.
We were woken up about 90 minutes before landing to breakfast. I had the bacon roll, which was okay and Steve had the cooked breakfast. It looked nice and he enjoyed it. breakfast on a plane has never been my favorite meal.
All in all it was a great flight, the service was fantastic and we were ready to start out 10 day adventure.
