V-Flyer

Our yearly trip out to the US started the best way, early start and the and a nearly empty M25.

Through the Drive Thru Checkin, and in the clubhouse in 10 minutes. Only slowed down by the fact that i had to completely empty my laptop bag as supposedly i had too many cables for the scanner to be able to determine what was in the bag!

Clubhouse was very quiet, until about 9:30 then seemed to fill up. Wife had a quick facial which she booked with no problems at all. Very pleased wife.

On board the aircraft we'd bagged suites 12/14k both of which were very clean, a little damage to some of the edges near the window, but no other complaints.

Food and drinks service were far better than i had expected, chose the chicken with gnocci and truffle sauce, very tasty. Plenty of drinks provided as and when needed.

Crew were very friendly and courteous.

Probably one of the best flights i've had with Virgin Atlantic.

Only downside came at immigration, it took forever to get through, unlike my last experience at SFO which took about 10 minutes.

Great to read a very positive TR - sadly Immigration into the USA is rarely easy!
