Ive seen CC wake someone up for a seat 'up' druing meals...its good manners not to recline during food time

I reckon the drive from Orlando to MIA isn't too bad...the other direction, at night, after a long flight, is another issue altogether...

ANZ tannoy PAX to move their seats into the upright position just before meals are served.

And everyone does!

Brilliant system. Can't trust people to figure this out for themselves (in our experience).

Although, if you are in seats backing onto a cabin divider or loo you can stay reclined.

But isn't eating slouched back incredibly difficult?? Recipe for food all over your shirt!
