So my love affair with Little Red continues........ ):

Having travelled from West Yorkshire by train to Manchester airport I arrived at Terminal 3 just before 5pm. The welcome could not have been warmer, I do travel this route a lot but after a shaky start, I really do find the Servisair check in team super friendly. They welcomed me back and had me checked in without any fuss :D

Security was quick but I had forgotten about that bottle of diet coke in my laptop bag.... B) and I arrived into the escape lounge just after 515pm. It had clearly been very busy with the amount of cleaning up going on but I settled down with some fizzy pop (no drinking during the week for me at the mo!!) and a couple of sandwiches.

I watched "Tartan Lassie" arrive just after 6pm and made my way down to gate 18. I waited for a little while until I was asked personally if I wished to board first. I guess I was the only FC AU on board.....nice to be singled out though!!!! ): oo)

Once on board welcomed warmly - I know most of the Manchester LR crews through my flights and tonight I was greeted like an old friend and I settled into my seat 19F which for no apparent reason has become my seat....... :o)

Pushback was a few minutes early and a light load tonight though I was assured and had seen from expertflyer that the earlier flights had been really busy....nearly 90 on the early morning flight for example.

Once airborne, one trolley was brought out from the front though I was asked by one of the crew in the rear if I would like a drink....so a diet Pepsi was ordered and this duly arrived with crisps and a new addition on board.....

The new large Walkers cookie joined this week. Lovehearts were offered as usual and flying club application forms were offered to anyone interested and then it was a couple of laps in the hold and a beautiful approach over Central London touching down at 735pm.

Another fantastic LR flight and after picking up my bag I was out into the warm evening on my way to the hotel without any delays.

Happy days

Jon :D

I fear that stating you merely travel this route a lot is an understatement Jon :P - how many sectors does this make now?

Will make sure to request 19F when I do get to finally fly LR.

Cheers Jon 8D
