First off a totally awful attempt at SEQ1 despite being online with five minutes to spare I only managed SEQ20 n(

CDC pick up from Baker Street 0715 straight from night shift, really looking forward to breakfast and a Mojito, called up the UCW with car and driver details then onto DTCI.

Through the private security lane in about three minutes then onto Duty Free to pick up a box of Lindt Lindor balls for the Crew (I'm a tart I know).

Next stop the Clubhouse to have a shower after work and book a shave in the spa, Mrs H is due in the CH at about 0930 so time to amuse myself. First things first time for a Mojito then a Clubhouse breakfast, next stop the Bar for a few glasses of Champagne and some friendly banter with a couple of other customers and staff.
Clubhouse service was good and friendly y)
I opted for the Cut Throat shave which was great, it took an hour and was very relaxing the lady doing my treatment was very friendly and did a great job hopefully she will be there for my next visit in a couple of weeks.

We made our way to gate 19 via the duty free again, for 1230 where boarding had not commenced so we spent about 15-20 minutes waiting to board, once boarding commenced we made our way on to G-VFAB greeted by the crew at the door and directed towards 12A+K Champagne offered and accepted, refills too.
Push back was 20 minutes late and we were soon in the air with a nice view of Windsor Castle from the left side of the plane, more drinks offered this time the Spanish Red which was pretty good and a couple of bowls of Potato chips.
After a nice chat with the Crew it was time to order diner I opted a Mini Burger from the Graze menu to start with followed by the Thai Vegetable Curry and the Salted Caramel Pudding, all of it good.

About an hour after diner it was time for a trip to the Onboard Bar and some Jack Dainels for Joey ): , we had a nice chat to some of the Crew and the Captain who came down for a bite to eat (turns out he is from the same town in NZ as Mrs H grew up in), all this excitement after a week of night shifts meant it was now time for a long nap, six hours later we were over Oregon so time to start packing things away and a quick cup of Coffee.

IFE was V Port and as usual I headed straight for the Sky Map.

Great views of San Francisco on the way in, landing on 28L and the long taxi to the international terminal, with the later take off slot from LHR we arrived into an empty immigration hall and were in our Dodge RT Challenger from Hertz within a half hour of leaving the plane.

All in all a great flight with great crew.

great TR.
You got some Lindor Balls for the crew? nice one. I think thats actually quite sweet lol
Did you give it to the FSM? or to any of the crew? I might do that on our next flight actually as the NRT bunch have always been really good to us.
And meeting the captain at the bar :0 how cool is that.
Hope you enjoy the rest of this first leg.

On one of my flights the captain offered to serve me at the bar as there was no other crew around. I did say I'm sure she had better things to do but she said she didn't mind. Then one of the CC saw and looked horrified that she'd helped out.

Have a great time in San Francisco. I can't wait to go back next year.
