This was our first trip to the Clubhouse, which was fantastic, I could have almost spent our holiday here :D

Anyway we boarded African Queen quickly and had a flight time of 6hr 40mins, I think there were 161 (or 160) on board. PE was full and economy looked fairly full too. We were delayed by about 50 minutes waiting for passengers on connecting flights.

The entertainment was awful it was on a loop, so we declined to use it and just tried to get some sleep.

Dinner was okay, was the same as I remember having on our last VS trip last November. We both opted for beef which was okay, fortunately we weren't starving after stuffing ourselves in the clubhouse ):

Breakfast was nice, but being a veggie option I personally missed the meat.

Flight was fairly uneventful and passed quite quickly. Didn't see much of the crew my only criticism would be it took them a while to clear our plates away so I felt I lost sleep time ii) , I've never known it to take that long normally.

All in all a good flight but if we were heading to DXB in future I don't think we would pay for PE again, I'd rather spend the money on a hotel in Dubai.

Really great to hear you enjoyed the Clubhouse!

Shame the rest of the flight didn't live up to the same standards but glad that all in all, it was a good flight.

Thank you for posting.

Around 6hrs is tricky in terms of whether to fly Y or PE
I have done Dubai in Y and it was fine but I reckon I would liked to have been in PE
But tricky one to weigh up
