I was dealt with quickly and actually really well despite experiences of the LHR ground team not being as friendly as the MAN ground team but I think they are trying and with lounge invite and fast-track sticker applied I was on my way with a new seat choice too....

The servisair lounge is basic and I had a quick drink, processed some emails and had a snack. It was quiet thankfully but I do find the staff a little underwhelming. I was checked into the lounge by a lady dressed in the Qatar airways uniform which was interesting as they fly out of T4

The inbound flight was delayed a little (around 10mins) and boarding commenced at 1245 and with doors closed and 83 people on board it looked like we might get away only a few mins late, but a mix up with the passenger manifest caused a delay of 25mins and the air-bridge had to be reconnected and three ground crew came on while a manual count was processed. We pushed off at 1330 though the Captain kept us informed of what was happening.
Airborne at 1345(ish) and drinks and snacks as usual. I was sat in 4A which is a new seat for me on LR and I found it rather tighter than others but perfectly fine for such a short flight which today was 35mins.
The senior crew member came and asked if I needed anything else just before the descent which was a lovely touch. A great friendly crew working a busier flight though smiling and chatting throughout.
Landed into a windy Manchester and left pretty sharply, the luggage was quickly off too which is always helpful.
A superb LR flight once again......I get to do it all over again on Sunday....
