V-Flyer

Travelled UC from LGW to CUN, was easy check-in and pleasant flight. CUN to LGW, check-in was quick and efficient, security ok. Plane boarding was poor. Boarding was delayed by 55 minutes but no explanation by ground staff. Once on the plane we took our seats in 6a & 6k, 2 adults plus 21 month old. Cabin crew made us feel welcome and offered flight suites for us and kids seatbelt for little one.
We happily settled for the flight as others boarded and all was good. However, the guy behind my, wife and son decided to talk loudly to a stewardess that he didn't want to sit near a baby, who by the way was quiet as a mouse watching peppa pig! No spaces available in upper so he had to sit down. Then the couple behind me piped up that they stayed at an adult only resort and chrose UC to relax and sleep. Utter a-holes! Mrs, I and LO, spoke to head CC to move us, we swapped seats with couple near the barand our LO slept from 30 mins into flight until landing.

CC were very accomodating and nice, completely understanding our situation.

LOs meal was served v quickly ahead of anyone else, our meals were good enough.

Lights went out after food but CC were still available when needed.

V. Windy when landing but smooth overall.

Will recommended to anyone. All CC friendly and dealt great with what could have been an awkward/frustrating situation.eq
