This is my first try at Trip Report so please bear with me. Booked seats at T90 & managed to bag 19A/C so that we would be first off at MCO. Checked in on line immediately it opened but only managed seq16&18. Must try harder next time!!
Flight was on stand 212 so area was very congested by boarding time but managed to make our way through. Push back was a few minutes early but with a flying time of 8.75 hours due to having to go north and further west to avoid next UK bound storm. Flew in over Goose Bay then down & didn't touch coast until around northern Florida.

Onboard was fine with very chatty attentive CC. All meal choices were available despite our seats at back. I had beef, ok but a little fatty, OH had risotto which she said was lovely. Missed the cheese & biscuits. Ice cream lolly was served later, much preferred the old ice cream tubs. Tea was a bit of a non event with the small cheese & pickle sandwich & cupcake.
Landed MCO at 15.14 & on stand about 10 mins early. Quickly off up to an empty Immigration hall, straight through & then about 10/15 min delay on baggage. Both carousels eventually started spewing cases at same time!!
Off to Alamo & as advised by vflyers I had checked in on line but as hall was empty decided to complete process at desk, then on to garage, picked car & out at 16.25 for Lakeland, then Naples for 6 weeks of sunshine &hopefully at worst WARM rain.

Thanks for your inaugural TR y) y)

Glad to see that you had picked up tips from V -Flyers (like 19A/C and Pre Check In at Alamo) ): ):

To say I am envious of 6 weeks in the Sunshine State (even if it has warm rain) is an understatement :D :D

Have a fab time and thanks once again

Good to see all the good advice put into practice leading to what seems like a perfect journey. Green with envy, six weeks in Florida, have a fantastic stay and when you do come back it should be a bit better here in the UK. :D
