My first trip report so here goes ....

We arrived at Gatwick the night before our flight, we booked the parking along with the hotel (Bloc). Dropping the car off was a breeze and we then headed to Bloc Hotel in the South Terminal. Our room was perfect for a nights sleep, the room was clean we had a huge bed so happy days.

We managed to change seats at check in, from 20A to 18A so after this we made our way through departures. We boarded on time, and we were shown to our seats and promtly given a glass of bubbles each :D. The Cabin cream were all very polite and to my delight we were toppped up with bubbles before the doors closed.

Once in the air we ordered our drinks and requested our food, the drinks arrived and shortly after we were asked if we would like another....what a silly question ! :D We both ordered the chicken, then to be told only one of us could have this so my OH had the cottage pie and he certainly got the better end of the deal as my chicken was :$

After the meal we both had a couple of glasses of Amarula, and I reclined my seat as nobody was sitting behind me and had a good couple of hours sleep which as a rule I have always found difficult when I fly.

We arrived at BGI both of us happy and refreshed after such a great flight, we swiftly left the plane and quickly got through immigration and as we got to the luggage carousel our bags were already there so within 10 minutes of leaving the plane we were through and in the car on route to our hotel.

Overall fabulous flight, great crew and speedy arrival !
Happy days.
