Cab to McCarren was different, driver must have got out of the wrong side or something ?|

Check in was effortless, ground staff very welcoming and that was me and off the club las. I assumed the reugular position near to the bell peeper soup (boy do I love that stuff) two bowls later it was time to relax with a brandy & coffee.

Boarded on time, greeted by the FSM but wasnt offered a drink till some 10-15 mins later ? Dont get me wrong, I didnt want a drink and actually declined as my water was suffice but I would have expected the offer to be sooner. Unforunately this continued through out the flight as a few of the pax had to request a drink as offers from the CC were not forthcoming ? Now I know the LV route has its moments with pax having a little too much to drink and Ive seen a few of these episodes first hand but I do think the CC in UC this time let themselves down :?

Menu's given and order taken, I was really looking forward to dinner. I went for the tuna started and it was amazing but the fillet beef main, well....oh dear..it was cremated & dry and not well recieved when I pointed this out to the FSM who served me. A replacement was was offered but the tone was not not good, shame really as I know that they can & have done better n(

I didnt have any desert but did plump for the cheese.

3 hours in it was time for some shut eye and was woken for breakfast as we were passing over southern Ireland.

Landed ahead of schedule and cleared customs pretty quick, bags recieved and off to tackle the M25

All in all it would be 5/10 this time for VS, sad really as I know the CC can do ALOT better.

Unusual not to be offered the pre take off drinks - especially as it helps the PAX get off to sleep - less work!
Were you over in LV for the WSOP?

Interesting comparison of your outbound and inbound experiences on all fronts.

BTW, the subject line shows you going in the other direction... :)

Thanks for posting.

It's always interesting to read other people's TRs and what they experienced. It's ashamed that the service wasn't all that great, which from my personal experiences, I have rarely had cause to complain in either PE or UC.
