V-Flyer

Flight was called pretty much on time, very short walk from Clubhouse to gate 5A, priority boarding was in place & we were soon settled in seat 12a & k, bubbly was offered & declined, sorry to let the side down. There followed a delay before take off, we were kept well informed about the reason for delay (off loading baggage) & as entertainment system had been switched on. Once we pushed back we had what seemed a very long taxi before take off, the flight deck announced a short flight time of 6 hours which would still see us arriving at Heathrow on time. All was fine on the flight, myself & OH dined together (fillet steak) & enjoyed both the meal & red wines chosen. After dinner we settled down for some sleep, i woke to enjoy a bacon roll while OH enjoyed a longer sleep. Once landed we were soon of the flight & through immigration without any delay at all. It was a bit of a bun fight at the baggage carousel, luggage from another flight was coming through prior to ours & there were a few ignorant people elbowing to get to the front without so much as a please or a thank you. Once the VS46 bags started coming through ours were soon received 7 we were on our way. Another good VS flight.

Glad the trip back proved almost as good as the trip out. One point of interest - why did you not use Revivals?

Only ever used Revivals once pjh, when arriving back from an over night flight we are just keen to get home so don't bother.

All was great in NY Blacky, thank you, only turned down the boarding bubbly due to an over indulgence on the Malbec in the Clubhouse, it was only a temporary blip though, managed to enjoy a post take off G & T + a glass or two of red with dinner.
