Following nearly a month in the US & the Caribbean (cruise) we were ready to escape the heat of Las Vegas & head home.

When completing OLCI I noted that we had seats 9 & 10 A rather than 8 & 9 A which we had booked.

Check in was fine (only one case to check in due to South West losing one during an internal flight.

Lounge fairly basic but perfectly adequate with nice snacks. Enjoyed a couple of beers in the hour or so we spent in the lounge before taking the very short walk to the gate. Priority boarding worked well & there was a dedicated jet way for UC &PE passengers.

Soon seated & enjoyed a couple of glasses of fizz prior to departure.

Noted that there was a passenger in seated in 8 A, the seats IFE system was not working & they were provided with a tablet, maybe that was the reason we were moved.

The FSM introduced himself individually to all UC passengers. We had a nice flight home with service good service. As with our outbound flight the food was only average, all other aspects of the flight were good though.

It was our first visit to Vegas Scooby, we enjoyed our visit but wont be in a hurry to return as we felt that we have seen all that we wanted to. We travelled to Vegas by car from Tuscon (with an overnight stop in Flagstaff) driven by our son who is currently working in Tuscon, the road journey was fantastic & included a stop at the Grand Canyon.

We stayed at the Trump hotel (apparently actually owned by the Presidents ex-wife) which we thought was excellent.

As well as the usual sight seeing we went to see a concert by the Tenors of Rock & also saw Menopause the Musical, both shows were excellent.
