Off for a few days tomorrow.
It's been a horrid day at work, the weather forecast in sunny Spain is anything but for the next few days, DB has flu and Mr DL has been involved in a shunt driving home tonight (he's fine , back end of car a bit dented and two other cars involved are in a worse state)- the aggro of insurance claims to file tomorrow. So much for my nice chilled start to the weekend [}:)]-what's the betting BMIbaby will lose the bags (they've done it before) or the flight will be horrendously delayed and the car hire closed when we eventually arrive(like the last time we went to see the aged rellies).Allways seems to happen just before we go away.......

Um, um, um, got it! Well worse things happen at sea. No, on second thoughts that doesn't really help much as a comment does it.
I'll get my hat.

I flew with BMIBaby on Thurs and Fri and they were excellent - so no worries there!!
Spain has plenty of good restauarants and some excellent alcoholic products - so no worries there - if it rains just stay in and get hammered!!
Lem sip for DB
Hug and "dont worry" for Mr DL

Once you get there and enjoy a good plate of Jamon Iberico and a little Manchego washed down with a large glass (or three

) of a decent Ribera del Duero I sure you will all be feeling fine [y]

Enjoy Spain DragonLady, DragonBaby and Mr DL [y]
I've just come back after a week driving around Andalucia and the weather was all right. Sunny by coast with clouds in the afternoon/in the mountains and the temperature by the coast was great too; 25C during the day which was a massive improvement over my visit at the same itme last year.
I feel sorry for the new arrival yesterday cos it was raining when we left Malaga and it was like that all day yesterday [}:)]
P.S. I flew easyJet and they were all right. I will post a TR later today.

We had a lovely holliday and I got better quickly - took loads of Lemsip and flu stuff. DL and Mr DL were chilled out and happy most of the time [8D] No lost bags, had nice weather and Bmi were good departing and on the way home. What more do you want? I won a bar of Cadburys in a 'exam' and had 3 seats to myself. Sorted

The "exam" in question was related to the safety briefing. The senior attendant insisted that all passengers even "frequent" travellers "stopped talking and put down any reading marerial out of respect to the cabin crew and for the safety of their fellow passengers". She then added "I will then be examining you all"!". And she did!! DB had been listening astutely and when asked the number of safety exists on the aircraft rapidly stuck her hand in the air and won a bar of chocolate for her efforts (she also got all the other questions right too).
All a bit of fun I know but I was quite impressed with the way the attendant dealt with the passengers who thought they were "too important to listen"[V].
Sorry Sailor the choccy was promptly scoffed by DB,Mr DL and myself!

Glad you all had a good time and that everything went to plan!

Just glad that after the horrors of the weather forecast, DB being ill and DragonMan's poor driving record;) that things worked out well. So, now that you are tanned, rested, and relaxed it's back to the fray!
