It's such a load of trash, and I can't stand Davina - she grates me.
I'm just worried someone I know will turn up on it...

So I'm not watching it but let me guess:
12 complete muppets again, all fame hungry and average IQ of about 60. There must be at least two gay people, possibly a transgender, one person that thinks they have made it, an absolute cretin that makes the rest of them look like siblings of Einstein and the token person that is a distant fifth cousin of someone remotely famous.
The first series had its moments as no one knew what to expect but nowadays it's pure trash TV with wannabee Z-list celebs, that just makes me wonder how these people survive everyday life. No doubt the red tops and heat will be rammed with tidbits and gossip from the house for the next 3 months.

Chris Moyles has spoken sense!
"Every year I watch Big Brother and I hate everybody that goes in. I am irritated by them from the very beginning, they are all wannabes."

Aren't they loading the house with a mix of 80%+ LGBT this year?

Wot's LGBT?
God, I hope that by asking that question, I'm not showing myself to have the prerequisite IQ of 5 to be a house member! [:0]

Just taken a peek at the live show, and it doesn't look like they've put any fellas in there this year (unless they're hiding them somewhere).
It's going to be a bloodbath after a couple of days...

Maybe there are a few "ex-fellas"

Ooops, my IQ has just dropped to 2. I'd better book a place in the BB house. I'd just about fit in

So ... 11 young women ... wow that't going to make it sooo much more watchable than last year. Although a man is to be introduced on Friday ... guess there'll be lot's more tooing and froing?

Don't Worry Honey Lamb - It had me guessing too. I thought it must be something to do with online check in, seeing as that just happens to be the % that in tomorrow's world will use it.

I watched them go in and if thats a cross section of typical british females, thank goodness I am not on the straight bus, yuk.
At least I have one of those typical unemployed serial campaigners to
dislike.
The pink haired lady beast ( or maybe manbeast ) looks like the nurse on The Catherine Tate Show.

I just had the misfortune to turn on the TV to E4 where I was greeted with Big Brother live and the intellectual heavy-weights that are the "house-mates." They were wishing each other a "happy 1st of June" which just about sums up the show in my opinion;)[ii]
45.

First time ever I haven't watched the launch show and boy am I glad. What gets me is that if they had put in a house full of men only, we would have had all the equality people shouting like mad that no women were put in, with sexist this and that being thrown around, but because its all women its fine[ii]

GJ - "goona be a choisty"? Where exactly in Leeds did you pick up this strange and peculiar dialect? And what on earth does "choisty" mean? I think you're doing for the much (probably quite rightly) maligned Leeds accent what Dick Van Dyke did for cock-a-nees.
And, most importantly, since when has Tracey Emin been "brilliant, talented and compelling"?!?

Well I'm on the straight bus, but 24 hours with that lot would have me seriously reconsidering my position.
Is the chubby Welsh one the hairdressing assistant in Nighty Night?

Here's one who won't be watching it, on the grounds I don't have a TV as such and I have a brain.[|:)]
Now, where is the lowest common denominator???:D

This piece in this weeks PopBitch pretty much sums it up:
>> Rule Britannia <<
UK the place to be for young boozers
In LA dumb, barely dressed girls getting trashed
and acting up for the cameras are suddenly
facing jail and rehab, and have precipitated a
media and police investigation into the
under-age boozing and drink-driving that's
been an open secret there for years.
In Britain dumb, barely-dressed girls getting
trashed and acting up for the cameras are now the
focus of our summer, as Big Brother starts once
more. You just have to feel sorry for Britney
Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan that they
weren't born in Britain. They'd fit right in.

Thanks,
Richard
