Wimbledon "live blog" commentary on BBC

Stop the press. I think we've found a replacement for Sir Terry when he can't stomach another Eurovision...

The BBC do a live point-by-point report of the key Wimbledon matches for news.bbc.co.uk, almost like each point is blogged.

The guy blogging the Henman matches, Tom Fordyce, is hilarious...

Moya vs. Henman five-set thriller, containing such gems as "Who's going to blink first? Certainly not Mr Henman Snr, whose face hasn't twitched in 14 years.":

Henman vs. Lopez (rain stopped play), he can even comment on inclement weather:

It seems his colleagues have a wicked sense of humour too:

Just thought I'd share that with the collective!

Mike

The same guys have been doing the cricket 'commentary' for the test matches over the winter, and the recent West Indies series - again, they were absolutely excellent.. frequently very funny, and a real light relief compared to the 'serious' commentary on telly...
