Just wondered if any of our US users have managed to get their hands on an Apple iPhone yet?

They are already appearing on eBay for around the equivalent of ~£450

Nope, I did go into a cingular store to take a look/play with one, but they have not received any yet.

Nope, though hoping that work will get me one in October when they launch here

Expansys (and probably others) are already taking pre-orders for a SIM free unlocked version (both the 4 & 8Gb verions) - no mention of price yet though.

Hmmmmm do I buy an HTC S710 smartphone now or wait till October and get an iPhone [:w]

The one on 5th Ave is right at the top, outside FAO Schwarz. Its a very cool building with lots of toys to play with downstairs, including free internet access (always handy when you are abroad!)

Hmmm, would rather wait for the new iPod. I want an iPod to be an iPod, a phone to be a phone, and as for internet browser ... i don't want one that small in my pocket.

Also check out J & R next to City Hall and across from the WTC Site as they're an authorised Apple Dealer. Take the green 6 subway line to Brooklyn Bridge and it's next door.

Um there was a report on Sky News this morning saying that a load of people had trouble registering them with A T & T.

It appears according to the report that unless you register nothing will work !
