If we could organize it would you be interested in a V-Flyer cruise ?
This subject has been raised a few times amongst the mods, now that more members are coming out of the wood work I think it would be interesting to see if there is enough people who would be interested in setting this up.

Just because spending time relaxing on the ocean is not your cup of tea I don't think there is any need to make a comment like that, if you don't have something constructive to add please keep it to yourself.
Just to add...thte above of course is a joke, though Preiffer is a kill joy that hates children and small cute furry animals, he is allowed to have his opinion as is just about everyone.

Mrs Buns & I will be taking our first real cruise early next year.
This will help make up our minds if we are cut out for this sort of thing[:?]
There is one TV programme here in the UK that covers one of the cruise lines and that has made us shudder a bit, but as we are not cruising the Med, we should be OK

For someone who used to get sea-sick at the words "Boat Train" on the Holyhead platform [:$] I don't think it's a good idea.

Unlikely for me. I did a weekend cruise from Miami to the Bahamas once, and was relieved to get off on the Monday morning. Just wasn't for me, I guess.

I always said "never" to cruising, that is, until I took my first one last Fall. Am now hooked, am doing another cruise in January and would love to do a V-Flyer cruise if all works out. Depending on how many cabins we booked and if we were to have a "meeting" or two -- well, one or more likely has enough contacts to get rate reductions and some more goodies thrown in. Am 100% certain that Scrooge would be one of those with the contacts[^].

Totally hated cruises until the wife and i went on our first one 5 years ago. Now every other holiday is a cruise holiday. We just got back from a 13 day Baltic cruise and we are currently in the process of booking a Nile cruise in February next year followed by Alaskan cruise in 2009.
Would love to do a V-Flyer cruise though it would have to be on a decent cruise line as experiances vary just as much on cruiselines as they do on Airlines.

Somehow I can't see this lot choosing an easycruise or something similar... [}:)]
Sounds like a good idea, but i am guessing that we will be out - I am looking at getting "big and waddlely" next year at some point, so holidays will be very up in the air (and probably no surfing on any flowriders then either....[ii])

You are of course correct 10 cabins counts as a group....discounts will vary, but they are normally pretty nice.
So would a Panama cruise on say Princess work ? in '09..give everyone a chance to make plans ?

Suppose it would all depend on who else was on the cruise with us

Difficult one, as we've never done one, but sure we will one day.

They're a lot more fun than you'd believe IF you're with the right people.

Mmm, I'm in the not so sure camp. Now a trip on the OE sounds fun. Though a trip on Eurostar in First to Disneyland Paris for the weekend sounds very interesting.

Believe me - Eurostar First (it's actually called "Business Premier", Richard

) is NOTHING to write home about. [n]
Our company policy is Business Premier every time; it's the one area in which I do wish they'd save their money [ii].
