....well except for the cat.

Aer John has packed his bags, loaded up his car and headed off to start his university career at 9:00am tomorrow morning. It will be a Bleak House for the next few days but I have Great Expectations that he and his laundry will be back on Friday. However I shall be away for the weekend so we will be Trading Places and he will be doing it himself and of course he will be Home Alone 2....

....well except for the cat.

Well yes, it does mean she has more free time to come and go as she pleases [y] and is in fact gracing the London social scene next weekend when she goes over for a party given by a friend who is getting married in South Africa at the end of October and is throwing a party for all those they couldn't invite to the wedding. She will be joined by friends from Calgary, Seattle and Washington DC [y][y]

Other trips will not be ruled out (although she spent some time yesterday agonising about Las Vegas after Pete posted on her Bar Chat, that really is a no-no [:#] ) and there may be an element of spontaneity, providing the neighbours, who have been superb down through the years, are still willing to feed the said cat
