...incident in Japan behind the safety car in which Vettel crashed into the back of Webber.

Vettel has also had his ten-grid place penalty reduced to a reprimand.

Bring it on Lewis, only 9 points needed from two races to secure the championship!

...and now he has pole for tomorrows race, followed by the two Ferraris and Alonso back in forth, couldn't have worked out better for him.

Really kicking myself that I didn't put £100 on at the start of the season. Oh Well.

What a disaster that was, bad decision by the team, Martin Whitmarsh, COO McLaren Group, conceded they left him out one lap too long whilst trying to second guess the weather. Lewis however only has himself to blame for entering the pit lane corner too quickly for the conditions (tyres and weather), he was the only one driving the car, not the team.

Still he has a 4 point lead going into Brazil and any of the top three could win the championship... it will be an interesting race!

Makes for an exciting end to the season which is good for the sport, if not for the nerves!

Seriously bad planning - I was on a flight, right over the top of shanghai today as the race was running. AND I will be on VS251 somewhere over Mongolia I should imagine at the time Lewy is bringing it home in Brazil.....

Now the question, do we hope dear old Captain Speaking, up front there is a big fan and will be able to relay the result to us in the back?

OR do I hope to avoid all mention of it as I dash from heathrow to a London Hotel, and then isolate my self until the evening highlight program?

Then again, I managed not to find out England had beat Australia until day after the event.
