2-1 is a disgrace! [V]

To be honest I've lost faith in the England team as a whole in recent months (cue anti-patriotic blurbs) so this result is of no surprise to me.

I have more faith in England's rugby union players winning something at the weekend! :)

I didn`t watch the match as I was working so forgive my rant if I am off target, but when I heard on the radio, 2-1 down and 10 mins to go, my heart soared in anticipation of an avalanche of goals when I heard that they had brought on ... Stuart Downing!!!
He has got to be McClarens love child or something to be constantly in the squad, never mind playing. Bentley, playing out of his skin for Blackburn and notching goals. He must have been worth putting up front for the last 10.

I know, but I am a firm believer that 94 words are better than one.

Firstly let me say I like Steve McClaren, for numerous reasons. He was born Nr Hull, he played for Hull and he opened a new radio station in Hull not that long ago.

I can't see how 2-1 is a disgrace. We should have easily won the match, if that Scouse tw*t had scored instead of shooting wide when it was easier to score we had the game in the bag. It wasn't a penalty. Also not forgetting the stupid fake pitch we were forced to play on. None of these factors are McClarens fault, the players lost a game they controlled and need to take the responsibility for that. I still hope we will qualify and maybe do something decent in a major tournament.

I was going to rant on about my views on this but will keep it brief.

With the players we have we should easily be atop of the group. We are not. Maccer is paid an absolute fortune to make us the best- therefore he isnt delivering so he should go.

Why on earth the press were so instant on getting rid of Englands best manager (performance wise) for the last 30 years I will never know.

And there we have, perchance, the reason for his downfall...?

My flag of residence says it all.

It could be worse, you could have Toshack!

I've never seen such crappy Welsh performances, I'm starting to think that Robbie Savage may have a point!
