Grange Hill - End of an Era

So it's all going to end. Now I'll be first to admit that I used to watch it as a child, compelling viewing it was too. Much beter than that Brookside nonsense.

Must admit I was a GH fan myself, late 90's really though, and that was only because I fancied someone in it. I loved one of the reason for cancelling was because they could show a true school life now because of all the guns/knives!

Can you remember when they went to America with the 'Just say no' campaign and there were loads of reports they were all high when they were out there. I loved the JLC, 'Bring back.........Grange Hill programme last year'

No so much compelling as essential viewing. Just in case there was someting in it that would be recreated in school the next day. Who can forget the 'flying sausage on a fork', 'Just say NO!', Mr Bronson and his incredible rug.
