Camden market fire

It is indeed. As the other markets have shifted relentlessly upmarket Camden remained largely true to its roots, even if those roots are selling slightly dodgy punk tat to Spanish tourists.

When I went back a few weeks ago for the first time in a couple of decades it was still recognisably the same place I used to wander to and around when I first moved to London in the early 80's. The same can't be said, for example, of Spitalfields.
