I read in a magazine about this woman whose best mate bought her a title for her birthday. She is now 'Lady' Tracey of Hull or something of the sort.
I wondered what LROM and LSOM meant, now that i know I think perhaps some of there fellow v-flyer buddies should take a look at this site!
(Just a thought)

How fabulous, maybe we should all club together and buy LRoM & LSoM 'real' Lord and Lady titles as a wedding present, how about:

Lord Richard of Camp & Lady Sarah of Wine[:w]

And trust me when I speak for us all, the last thing LRoM's ego needs is to become an actual lord, this would be a bad bad thing and could only end in tears [:w]

And I'm afraid he'd be a johnny come lately upstart, as your truly is, and has been for a number of years, Laird of Two Square Feet of B*gger All Somewhere North of The Border.

So, if you'd just like to prostrate yourselves...

Why in the world would one want to be *Anything* of Hull? Tisn't a fit place for man nor beast.

Or so I hear.

At any rate, titles have been purchased all the time -- just ask the top Labour and Conservative donors/peers.

TBH, I'd rather be a Sir than a Lord, has too many connotations of being passed now and not earned in it's own right.
