That time of year is fast approaching where Europe (in it's broadest sense) will all gather around the TV and watch the cream of songwriting and performing make utter fools of themselves.
Eire have crashed out.But who will win?

For the first time in about 18 years I am not going to be able to watch Eurovision live as I will making my way back from watching Hull City at Wembley. I am gutted about this but shall be watching it as soon as I get it, whatever the time because it is just utterly fabulous!
UK will once again do nothing I am afraid, not getting great feedback on the Eurovison forums.

Eire? Eire? Don't you mean Ireland? [V]
Pity Dustin didn't make it but he'll probably have a gig on some table in Ireland on Christmas Day [:w]

I still have room available for any closet Eurovison fans. I am holding a Euro BBQ in the evening which will involve lots of drink. Its the only way to watch it[:D]

I do enjoy the results, more so than the songs. Terry's the man for the commentary.

It's all about Terry not the music! Haven't heard the UK's entry, but was listening to Chris Moyles this morning and the UK performance is the 2nd of the night, apparently not a good place to be on the running order!

Ah yes, but our best position since we last won was when we performed 2nd in 2001, and it was sung by an ex Pop Idol contestant, just like this year! I still don't hold out much hope for us to do very well even though our rehearsals have looked good.

Nice to see the most popular vote here being correct. Russia 272 point, UK 14 points. Even Sir Terry is talking about quitting because the voting is such a shambles.

According to Carrie Grant earlier today, that wasn't what Terry said, he was talking about someone else quitting, but I was quite drunk by that time of night so wasn't really listening.
I'm still loving the Swedish song, though Charlotte looked like an alien, and I'm now pondering a trip to Iceland and Azerbaijan to see if they all look like their entrants there. [8D]

Terry was talking about it being Kevin Bishop's (whoever he is) last Eurovision and then towards the end he said
this
