Hi - hoping someone can help here.
I'm using a house in Florida later this year that has no broadband [:0]
Any ideas on how I can get Broadband for the duration of my stay? Is it available via one of the mobile networks on a dongle like it is in the UK?
thanks
Andrew

The cell service we have over here is years behind the UK..We are now starting to just get wide spread 3G...but yes it can be done as long as 3 G is quick enough for you.
I would point out to the owner of the house that renting a place without high speed internet in the US is a real negative, shame them into paying the $20-$30 a month for it lol

Depends. Folks with AT&T are living in the dark ages. I do not know of any prepaid wireless data packages.

Thats what I am thinking, I know there are companies that ofer unlimited voice, data, and text for something like $30 a month...but the problem is then the phone.... Let me do some research.
