The new series looks fantastic.

In this series Jeremey races the bullet train in japan against the car. That should be interesting.

Yeah, it was actually Richards dog, which was why it was with him most of the time.

The dog was getting too old apparently so they decied to retire him. It was mentioned at the start of the 2007 series that he was getting too old.

I wonder what his retirement package was like from the bbc.

Thanks Virgin Crazy, I didn't realise he was that old - had a feeling Richard may have run him over or something equally unpleasant! Great news the show is back, I won't have to watch Dave quite so much.

Here's hoping BBC America get their backsides into 'gear' and start showing it soon!

Yes Top gear America should be here soon as they have finally cast all three presenters and filming is about to start. The show will air on NBC.

Adam Carolla is quite a funny guy; he was in the last series of Dancing with the Stars, danced with Julianne, lucky guy. Don't know the other two. I must admit I was rather hoping Jay Leno would be one of the hosts as he is a real petrol head and I could see him doing the whole Clarkson bit.

Leno was lined up as a possible host but his show schedule meant it was impossible to do both.

Here me now, it will suck, no, it will suck big time, Clarkson is what makes the show and none of those three have what it takes to fill his shoes.

Now it's down to BBC America to rescue me from NBC.
