Ok - who can't wait for Dr Who on Saturday? Who wishes they had a Tardis to get to Saturday now?

It's not the same as from my youth. No wobbly sets, no dodgy scarves, no Bessy and no hiding behind the sofa and no
Kandyman

Yes, the Kandyman was cool. But for me Doctor-Donna (friend of Ood kind) are the best Doctor and Assistant and this series has been fantastic.

Can't disagree here. Some innovative and interesting storylines, and great acting.

But I'd have to disagree here. Catherine Tate is being.. well... Catherine Tate and whilst not actively bad I find actively distracting.
Bernard Cribbins on the other hand...what a star...

Donna!!!! Bloody awful IMHO....how about either for Series 5:
1. Sally Sparrow from 'Blink' (Series 3)
2. Jennie (The Doctor's Daughter)
Better than Catherine Bloody Tate any day......

So have to agree, I really like Doctor Who, but can not watch it with Catherine Tate, just hope she isn't doing another series! [n]

Sally Sparrow, sure for a future assistant, but not the daughter. didn't rate her. And it's too wierd that they're an item off screen.
I think Donna's been great and this series has fleshed out the character from a very annoying one note act in the Runaway Bride.
Far more excited by Saturday than a man of 33 should be [:D]

I like Donna too - much better than Martha, who was just too boring.
Capt Jack and Co are in Sat's episode - got to love Capt Jack!

Oh yes - agree on both of those - Carey Mulligan (Sally) was great and one of the best episodes ever. I am sure we'll be seeing more of Jennie (Georgia Moffett) either in Dr Who, Torchwood or possibly another spin-off.
Have to say I've somewhat warmed to Donna - as Catherine Tate has not been as bad as I thought - and the lack of a physical attraction between the Dr and his assistant is refreshing and more old-school. Still can't say I would be sorry to see her replaced - thought there was a rumour about Kylie returning (or am I just starting that one now?)
