Busy printing out pictures of the Queen to liberally scatter around my hosts' home this evening (we're in VA) - there are still Union Jacks undiscovered from last year's party!!! They're never going to invite me back.....

As Independence Day draws to a close in the western states, I hope all V-Flyers from across the pond have had a wonderful day celebrating.
In these days where increasing slices of american culture are seeming to become embedded in UK society (first Halloween and more recently Prom night), I wonder how long it will be before we start celebrating over here[}:)]
