I have no idea, the thing is, the poll's here are swinging back and forth...it could get very interesting, I have my own choice, but that stays private.

I think this is a fascinating race, but made so much more so, by the parallels with the Arnie Vinnick / Matt Santos storyline from the last series of the brilliant West Wing TV drama.

I thought Obama was a sure fire winner, but then he didn't pick Hilary as his VP and McCain suddenly pulled Sarah Palin out of the hat. [:0]

I am no fan of Hilary, but she has a LOT of support, both inside the Democrats and outside the party. If Sarah Palin continues as she started and the press don't find any major skeletons in her closet, then she could swing it for McCain.

I too have reservations about Palin. She seems too good to be true and I'm sure some facts will emerge before November. She's also very untried politically and the words 'loose cannon' reverberate in my head.

Hmmm. I'm waiting for the real mud-slinging to start.

There is definitely something wrong about Palin and why she was chosen.

Is she a fall girl when when it goes wrong 'America wasn't ready for a female VP'!? Very 'Commander-In-Chief' except Gena Davis is better looking.

Given the polls are 50/50 at the moment, someone is going to have to start making break or I can see another Chad-gate about to fall. If that happens and it get to the Supreme Court, no prizes for guessing the winner there.

I am the opposite it seems, I just do not get Obama, there is something about him that I find hugely off putting. I think Hilary would have made a great President and would have probably been a sure fire winner over McCain, but I just think he has pulled a clever move with Palin, and he might just sneak it.

I think some or the recent gaffs by Obama have caused a few people to question his credentials - it's not so much what he says it's the fact that he didn't realise the way things would be interpreted.

I may not fully agree with JMs politics but I believe B Clinton asked the question about who you would vote for if one canditate offered everything you wanted but was likely to deliver little while the other offered half of what you wanted and was likely to deliver.

Also, I would have thought it was in Hilary's interest to hope for a JM victory as it means she can run again in 2012 - obviously she has to appear to support Obama.

I am really torn on this one. I guess if I was American then I would be voting McCain/Palin but...

Obama appeals to me. I think he really appeals to the younger electorate. He is a great orator and rather like Blair back in 1997 is saying things people want to hear.

McCain does little for me. Yes he has a great history but I just think he is way too old for the job. And don't even get me started on Palin. For me Mitt Romney would have been a better candidate but he really couldn't expect to get the nomination after the problems with child abuse and mormons in Texas.
