Well let's hope VS don't take out the bar soon then [:w]
I am actually looking forward to the movie, though at times the acting of Daniel Craig is a bit wooden, Casino Royale was a refreshing change [y]

Good stuff, that is ... hhhmmmm, maybe I'll go and make myself one now. I have to say, the bartenders I have dealt with in the LHR CH stir up a great martini.

They are certainly being served at the JFK cluhouse, had three last Friday [:0] - well, they are small martini glasses, no wonder I slept well on the way back though [:I].

Just wondered if any of our UC regulars had a cocktail from this gentleman.

Yep - Pete and I were on a flight to SFO back in November 2005 and he was onboard working. It was a really good flight - shame the flight was absolutely empty in J. I think there was only me and Pete that actually sat at the bar! Though about 2/3rds of the way through the plane just dropped, and I laughed as Pete was doing his tour of duty in Economy so got stuck there for 30 mins!
Really nice chap though and certainly knows his stuff, I seem to recall he trained the guys in the new LHR CH before it opened. He did have a huge amount of carry on luggage, as there were some rather funky Martini glasses that a certain someone had his eye on...

Sounds like my sister-in-law, if someone has a unusual or branded glass when we are in a pub, she has to try and 'acquire' it. But there is a big difference between a Stella pint glass and a cool-looking Martini glass.
