I remember a funny one when I was going through LHR once (I think it was LHR[:?]) and the message over the tannoy was:
'Could passengers, Chi, Chay, Chong, Choo, Cheng...giggle, giggle giggle - (silence)'
Followed by a second attempt:
'Could passengers, Chi, chay ...giggle, giggle giggle - (silence)'
It was very funny indeed and I could see other pax laughing at the obvious fit of giggles the announcer had experienced, and then eventually she spoke again:
'Could those pax recently arrived from Hong Kong on flight###, who are connecting with flight## please make their way immediately to gate## where the aircraft is now boearding...'
