Could this be the best job (adopts Jeremy Clarkson voice) in the world...?

No. I think the attraction of the job would rub off very quickly. The loneliness (I am guessing you live on your own?) and boredom would really get to me I feel.

It comes with a three bedroom villa thrown in, so I'm assuming they'd allow you some sort of company. If only I could scuba dive...

I was looking at this last night. I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm tempted to apply for a giggle. [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

I'm tempted myself, assuming they'd allow Mrs V and I do it on a job-share basis (12 hours a month might be too much for just one person) and let Tizer come along with us. I can swim, I can snorkel, I can blog to my heart's content if given enough time and I sure as hell know how to 'generally enjoy the tropical Queensland climate and lifestyle'.

Quick, pass me the application form!

Tempted here too. Good luck trying to apply though. Apparently the application website crashed as they where getting 2000 hits a second.

I can dive, snorkel, know my shell fish, like the sun, showing people around, would I take it? Hell no. Small island = small life!
