Sorry to all for whatever travel disruption it brings, to all the namby pamby southerners who find it utterly impossible to drive it, for the cold and slippy conditions, but if it does snow as forecast in the South East tonight and tomorrow, I'll be out tobogganing and playing around like a child!

The only positive for me is the undeniable opportunity to stay at home if we have more than one centimeter of snow. [:D]
Thanks,
Sarah

UGGs (spare pair that can get wet!) are out ready for the walk to the tube tomorrow morning. I usually take the car but being a southern woos and given the roads are rarely gritted properly I won't be driving. Love snowball fights but nowadays it turns to slush too quickly.

The kid's ears will be glued to Radio Kent tomorrow morning for the school report...

Blowing a right hoolie out here in suffolk. Time my 2 hour walk with the dogs this morning very well. Not much in the way of lying snow, but it will be bad, methinks

Sorry to say quite a blizzard out there at the moment, south of London[:0][:0]
I have an important work engagement tomorrow and if it carries on like this, the chances of me getting to work at any reasonable times seems unlikely[:(!]
I stand little or no chance of getting out of the development and local public transport also seems to be getting hit already

Wow, we've had lightning and thunder with the snow. the lightning's reflection off roofs, the roads and pavements is brilliant.
Bring it on!

It has been coming down thick and fast here is SW London, just been out in it to take some photos. Lots of fun but not too sure I will be saying that tomorrow when I am trying to get to work [n]

Still snowing at Gatwick, but only lightly.

No pictures I am afraid, but this
BBC Report shows how bad it is likely to be overnight[:0]
Already (and it is 9pm here) there is about 5cm outside and it is still falling. My efforts to grit the driveway have been to no avail

Hmmmph, over here on the West coast, we had a few snowflakes about 30 mins ago and that was it [}:)]
Mind, I could really do without any amount of snowfall tonight - gotta fly to BRU tomorrow for a week long trip for work...
Cheers

Still only a slight dusting round Cambridge. Looking at the BBC Weather it seems that tomorrow afternoon is going to be the problem time hereabouts.
Not looking forward to my drive down the M11 to STN tomorrow morning.

Sat in JFK clubhouse waiting to get on the VS04. Wondering what the situation is going to be like at Heathrow in the morning if it is as bad as BBC say it could get. Anyone think there might be diversions happening??

If it's a bad as forecast, the issue could be 'divert to where!!'

Current forecast indicates the South East will be worst hit overnight.
If so, then the north should be claer to start with - but who knows 0.5 cm of snow has the ability to bring the UK to a standstill[n][n]

Crikey! I predict mayhem in the Southeast tomorrow. When I were a lad up North, this were nothing.
Some snaps chez Howard ce soir:

Its just started snowing where I am too. Will see how deep it is in the morning. Anything more than a centimeter equals bedlam for the roads!
Thanks,
Sarah

My son has left AAR this evening, good news is that he has landed although unfortunately not in STN.
He's ended up in BRS, now sat on the plane waiting to hear if they're going to provide a bus service.
