Posted: 12 Jun 2009, 07:22Petrus is open. Same chef. Same decor. Same waiters. Different name, Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley. Recently made it into the Top 100 restaurants in the world. This is in danger of looking like a plug so will end with this: 'Other Michelin starred restaurants are available' ;-)
Posted: 12 Jun 2009, 10:42Sealink, if you had followed the link in the OP and read the piece you would have seen it states the old Petrus at the Berkeley is still run by Marcus and has been renamed Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley. [:w]

It will take a lot of work to make it up to the standard of MW's place, it will be interesting to see who he installs there.

The saving grace about it is its location on Kinnerton St, home of the Nag's Head, one of the few real pubs left in Central London. Coincidentally, I bumped into Marcus Wareing in the Nag's Head a couple of years ago when he was trying to find his sous chef... but that's a whole other story.
It will take a lot of work to make it up to the standard of MW's place, it will be interesting to see who he installs there.
