Otherwise, the guys in CA would be last to have something from Apple...

Link herequote:- MMS: While the inclusion of multimedia messaging in iPhone OS 3.0 was discussed at Apple's previous media event, Apple today revealed the MMS will not be available for AT&T customers until 'late summer', as much as several months after the launch of the new operating system. A number of other wireless carriers throughout the world will be supporting MMS at launch.
- Internet Tethering: At its previous media event, Apple chose not to focus on tethering, addressing it only in a Q&A period by saying that while the functionality is being built into the iPhone OS 3.0, cooperation from carriers would be needed in order to enable it. During today's keynote, Apple announced that tethering via USB and Bluetooth will be offered on a number of carriers at launch, although AT&T will not be supporting it for the time being.

Downloading for three reasons:
Notes sync
cut and paste
Bluetooth streaming with my parrot car bluetoothy thing
It's worth it for the last reason alone, saving me from the cacophony of the cassette with wires, and the bottom of unlocking the thing to change tracks

Yep, I think I am going back to 2.2 then jail break it, load it up with everything I need that Apple/ATT don't let us use, MMS being the big one for me.

Bluetooth = Works great
MMS = A few issues (I think o2 issue)
Notes = I think my settings are wrong
Not much change otherwise, A little disappointed after all the hype
Probably try and get hold of 3G S in Dubai if I can, Anyone want one ?

My MMS issue.
It seems that it is off course an ATT issue.
There is a nice little box that ops everyone out off MMS, fantastic says I, uncheck the box......Nope can't do that, nobody knows how, it has to be done by a special dept.................
I'm getting a new phone tomorrow.

Loving the new 'Where's my iPhone' section in MobileMe [:D] That's probably worth the MobileMe subscription alone [y]

Hmmm. Unless I'm missing something, you still can't forward a text message...?

Open a message tree, click edit, then tick the message you want forwarding then click the 'forward' button.
Took me a while to find that one!!

Mine has just activated as well, do the MMS get charged for or are they in the data bundle?

They come off your monthly text allowance in blocks of 4 per MMS sent (the same as when sending texts when your abroad)
Not sure what happens when you send an MMS whilst abroad though [:?]
