No Scrooge. My roommate sets the heat at 64 because he is cheap and the cost of heating from 64 to 68 is soooooo great....

20 daytime UK, 17 overnight but every room has its own thermostat so some are lower. Another cheapskate!

For those wondering, that's 23.3C
My underfloor heating is set to 21.5C and it never seems to come on, the room seems to vary between 20 and 24.

Heating? Barely use it unless it's really cold. No point when the windows are open.
Not cheap, just hate hot, stuffy rooms.

Heating? Unnecessary evil...breeds bugs, encourages viruses and costs a fortune. Better to be healthy and have the windows open[}:)]
Mrs HWV has a different opinion however......!

In extreme weather I allow a full bucket of coal to be kept by the back door

I think ours is set to 25c at the moment but it only comes on twice a day so its really not enough to overheat our house.
I suspect you may have to invest in some knitwear, or get a new roomie! Still, I'd rather be too cold than too hot. Years ago I used to work with a woman that was always cold (funny, as she was from Sweden originally) and we used to have rows over the office heating. She'd turn it up to 28c (sometimes 30c) which is ridiculous indoors and I'd turn it down to 20c. She's turn it back up, I'd turn it back down, we'd have a fight and settle at 22c for about a week when it would start all over again.
Thanks,
Sarah

Oooo....very posh....[8D]
Saying that, we did revert to wood on christmas day, drawing lots on who'd run out to the toilet at bottom of T'garden where it had been stored..[}:)]

RobL! The whole summer thing. Was just chatting with a friend in Mels.
The condo is brand new and well insulated. The cost of the natural gas to heat the full condo 24-7 at 74 is $37 a month. My roomie is just cheap. He can afford it.
I think I will install a WiFi thermostat.
