Need some thoughts/prayers (ANOTHER UPDATE)

I know I have been absent from the forums since my son was born, but I am in need of some thoughts and prayers for him and I truly believe that the more people are pulling for him, the better.
Today is his first birthday and he is currently in the intensive care unit hooked up to a hemo-filtration machine. I truly don't know how we got to this point & I am beside myself. Theo was sick, and started antibiotics and I thought he was getting better, but he was getting dehydrated. He went into the hospital on Thursday and I expected that after getting some fluids he would be on the mend. It turns out he has an infection in his blood and it is compromising his kidneys. We have moved hospitals twice and he is now in a PICU unit. We were sent home for a bit as he is stable and we need to shower, get some things, etc. and I am just trying to get the word out to as many people as possible so that he can get as many healing thoughts as possible.
Anyone who can spare a thought or a prayer for my baby, I appreciate it so much. He's a strong boy, and a fighter, and I pray he will get through this and be back home soon. Will keep you posted when I can.
Thank you so much.
Jeanne

He is in our thoughts.
A couple of weeks ago friends of our had their son, the next day he was transported to UCLA medical center, breathing tube, the works, two weeks later he is sitting at home, kids recover from these things so much quicker and as they seem to have caught the infection I am hoping things work out.

I send you huge hugs, love & prayers & give Theo a 1st birthday kiss from me.
I know how you feel & what you are going thru.
We, as a family have sat where you are now, so many times, & wished & prayed our youngest well again. After 42 general anaesthetics for various operations & procedures we still count our blessings every day, & every day is a bonus.
I can't make your torment & anguish go away, but I do hope you are able to draw strength from your fellow V-Flyers knowing that they are holding you, your family & Theo, the birthday boy close in their thoughts.
Please keep us all posted on Theo's progress.
Love & prayers are winging their way to you.
Much love Roxy-Popsy. x

Having been where you are, I can empathise. Little miracles happen every day and you just have to keep fighting for yours.

You have my thoughts, prayers and all the strength I can send.
We thank God everyday that we have been so lucky with our three but are also aware of how suddenly things can change and are in wonder at how some parents can cope with a sick child - especially with one so young with whom you cannot talk and explain what is happening.
Stay strong all of you and I am sure everything will turn out well.
