So with the snow in Washington DC, I have been watching a bunch of DVDs.
Is there a real hotel in London that is funky like Hotel Babylon in the BBC series?

No, but there's a Travelodge off the A30 near Basingstoke that has a lot of similarities.

Travelodge USA are IMHO a better experience than Travelodge UK. But sayng that I don't mind staying in either.

I dunno about you guys poo poo ing this - I stayed in the Conrad at Chelsea Wharf which was pretty close to be honest. Plus lovely views of the Marina.
