Completely off topic here but
Which browser is best?
I've used IE for years but became fed-up with it for one reason and another. I installed Firefox instead but it's sooooo slow, even slower than IE. my OS is Windows XP. Google Crome any good?

It come down to personal preference I guess, for me Firefox is the best, but I bet you will get an answer from someone for each of the different ones available.

Firefox, slow? [?]
I have used Firefox for years now. It opens with 8 tabs, and loads almost instantly - never had a problem with it, and never thought of it as slow.

I prefer Safari, but as Neil says, you'll get a different answer from everyone so try them all (all are free) and stick with the one you like best.

If you want speed, Opera is the fastest I have found, followed by Chrome, firefox/flock then IE.
I use all of them for something, firefox is my personal choice.

Chrome by far, IE slowest, Firefox slow now (it's gotten bloated and full of odd sods), but Chrome is like lightning in comparison, and I like it's usability and functions.

What works for some, don't for others then. Guess I might give Crome a go.
Thanx Peeps.

Another Firefox fan here, although after reading some of the above posts I might give Chrome a try.
