Aviation magazine help

I am looking for an aviation magazine subscription for my Dad for Christmas, but have no idea where to start, does anyone have any recommendations?

We are both into our planes, and like a bit of plane spotting. I've looked at the WH Smiths website but they seem to be for die hard aviation enthusiasts.

Thanks

How about Airliner World

My son took it for some time before he went to college and we both enjoyed it

There's quite a number out there. Many tend to be quite specific in nature - military, aviation history, airlines and airliners, aviation safety,GA, and so on.

There's others that are industry mags that are (to my mind) even more interesting.

Does he have a specific interest or favourite area/era etc? Or do you think something that is more generalised would be best?

Thanks to both of you.

Concorde RIP that's exactly what I've found they tend to be specialised. His interested in planes full stop (same as me :D ) old and new, probably not so much the safety (!) aspect more commercial aircraft.

Another vote for Airliner World. A friend of mine has a subscription to it and I always read it when round their house! :D
