This is a pretty good watch, its the Nasa Space Shuttle Discovery Launch, but filmed from a passenger plane heading out of MCO

Its a different view to what we usually see!

That's rather impressive. I would have enjoyed being on that flight, but gutted if I'd been on the wrong side of the aircraft!

My parents were on a VS flight back from Cuba a few years ago, and saw a night launch from the window. It was rather fortunate they were on the left side - I had checked them in and just happened to pick those seats :)

On the you Tube version the filmer says in a comment that he was on the left side of the plane but another pax let him into the emoty window seat so he could film

There is also a voice saying he hoped there were no complaints because the flight was late taking off - implication being if it was an on time departure they would have missed the lauch.

I'm not a fan of these things, my parents are all into astronomy etc so from a young age I've had a passionate hate for this stuff, but that really is something else to watch!

Thanks for posting that, otherwise I'd never have seen it y)

I hope Suzanneme looks at it as her son was very excited at the thought of going to the launch y)
