T3 in the Old Days

I came across this photo on ANet of T3 in the old days - so much has changed, not least that we won't see Pan Am 747s ever again!

Seriously, you can see that the basic infrastructure remains unaltered from all those years ago

I know, that picture was taken in 1971 :0 ! It'll be interesting to see what happens when T2 is finished, surely T3 has to be given a complete redevelopment?

I wish it would get demolished and rebuilt like T2, but I think the frontage work done a little while ago was as far as it goes. And it does look nicer from the front. Once you leave the VS check in area thought it does go downhill rapidly! :)

No I tell a lie they've almost finished revamping security. Maybe the plan for T3 is just to glam up what they have.

My main wish is that they would sort the lifts in T3 arrivals and make it easier to get to the car park with trolleys :)
