What happens to miles if you transfer a balance from Amex to another card with 0% interest?

You mean do you loose your MR points ? I'd say not as you earned them by spend and the transfer is really just paying the bill.

If you are asking if the new card will give you miles on the transfer amount then I'd say no as it is usually in the T&Cs - no miles on balance transfers.

Some do, lloyds duo avios thing does. 1000 avios for £1000 transferred to them. But they charge 3% fee. Dont think it has 0% intrest for long if at all tho...
