Phone number for transfer of points to hotel schemes

Has anyone got a phone number for contacting a Virgin customer representative regarding transferring my miles to iHG rewards. I do not want to hang on for hours to get a non uk call centre.

After many years of going to the states we have had to come to a design based on age etc, that it is getting too much for us. Our last trip in October really did it for us it took us nearly a fortnight to get back into a reasonable sleeping pattern, and it has now become so expensive we cannot justify the cost with hotel rooms even the most budget ones and for food costs.

So as we have accumulated over 250000 miles we thought it would be more advantageous for us to swap them to a hotel scheme so we can have a nice break in the uk while we still can.

Also this new dynamic pricing is coming up with a ridiculous amount of miles and money way beyond our means.
We also have vouchers sitting in the account that we will never use/

Thanks for reading my rant. linda

Your only other option apart from calling is online chat.

(That often only works though when you disable any web browser content blockers (tracking, pop-ups etc) as those content blockers do tend to block legitimate web browser features.

About two weeks I eventually got to phone customer services to transfer some of my miles towards a break with family at a Holiday Inn.

Got through in about 10 mins great all done they said it could take up yo 30 days to go through ok I thought should be done by end of December.

What farce it has been on checking my flying club account they have made a right mess of it all. Transferring to Hilton (NO_ refunding them, then to IHG ok then getting the wrong amount recalling them, to finally today transferring again to IHG.

So goodness knows when they will go through I also have some existing IHG points which are due to expire in the next fortnight so these extra points would have stopped them going into the ether. So I will have to buy some now to keep them alive.

Does anyone know if I have any recourse with Virgin over this. Cannot believe they have got this so wrong.
