I'm contemplating a journey down the M4 to either the River shuffle or the FVC bash.Any thoughts as to which one would be better to make my first appearance as a V-flyer?

Hi Julie,
The best one to make your FIRST appearance would be the Riverboat shuffle, in July. THEN you can make your second appearance in October for the FVC 21st

As Paul has said, you would be most welcome at both.
The thing about the river boat trip is that it is exclusively a V-Flyer do, whereas the Virgin Holidays thing is their night, and we are tagging along (hopefully [8D] ).
I think we will be better behaved at the FVC bash... so it is your call. [8D][}:)][:I]

PS There's going to be lots of new, never before seen V-Flyers there (including me) so as good a time as any to make your first appearance!

Have to say I am tempted with both. Shuffle is the weekend after my birthday and it sounds as if I'm in the same boat (excuse the pun) as Jacq regarding levels of alcohol tolerance! The idea of lots of "debutantes" is appealing. Will we get to wear long frocks and get "presented"?

Ooh steady on suggesting 'getting presented' with this lot....you'll be in for all sorts of tomfoolery by the sounds of the previous bashes!

Bring it on!!! [:p]

Probably best to give the hotel a call directly - not sure how many rooms Bazz reserved...

ROTFLMFAO - have you seen any of the pics of previous RBS?

Probably just best to say wear something comfortable that wouldn't get you thrown out of a pub

Cheers

No, it was the other way round because of the US/UK laundering restrictions, and my concern that you would blow the lot gambling.
Why is the counter stil ticking up - I thought the xmas tree had been taken down.

Yep-all in hand.By the way did I mention Mr Dragonlady gets seasick (well on ferries and "chuggyboats") but not for some bizzare reason on cruise ships and fast "pleasurecraft" .Does Pink champagne fit "chuggyboat" or "pleasurecraft" criteria?
