V-Flyer

A weird thing happened this morning. Logged on to find this post in the general forum. I could have sworn it was in this forum when I went to bed.

Anyway. Phil has kindly offered the use of one of his ships. We can use this as a committee boat to monitor starts, finishes and that people go the right way round the course. We could also offer the opportunity to fans and groupies of team VF (in my dreams!) to watch from the boat. They would need to make a contribution to cover costs.

Ok thought i'd add to this thread, i have got the Sunseeker Yacht 82 for a huge knock down price of 1K for the race day she would normaly go out at 5K and is coded for 21+3 crew, also Andy Forbes who won the 04/05 Global Challenge for BG group has agreed to skipper the boat.

The Sunseeker Superhawk 34 i will be using as a marshal boat is free the only thing is cost of fuel that i will cover (trust me it's only peanuts)

Just working on the other boats.
