Las Vegas 2007

The second biennial Las Vegas gathering

Following "Viva Las V-Flyer" in 2005, we're off to the West Coast of the USA again.

The main week in Las Vegas will be 12th - 16th November, with the final weekend in San Francisco, and the "party flight" VS020 back to London on the 19th November.

Las Vegas Lunch Thursday 15th November, The Stratosphere "Top of the World" - inc. thrill rides atop tower
Scrooge, Mrs Scrooge, Pete, Marcus, Iain + Friend, Mediamonkey

San Francisco Dinner Sunday 18th November, Cheesecake Factory, Union Sq - 7pm. Meet at St Francis sports bar up until 6.45pm.
Pete, Marcus, Iain, Stevieboy, JAT74L, Strawberry Muppet

Potentially there's time for either a dinner on Thursday night in Vegas, or we could all bundle down to the Crown & Anchor depending on numbers. Or, just watch preiffer split tens on the Blackjack table. All options are good... ;)

We should stress that V-Flyer isn't organising any flights or hotel bookings, as we're not a travel agent, (although Scrooge may be able to find you special hotel rates at The Stratosphere). You'll need to book your own travel arrangements separately.

Attendees List
Scrooge & Mrs Scrooge: Resident ;)
Pete & Marcus: LAX: 7-9 Nov, Crowne Plaza | LAS: 9-16 Nov, Wynn | SFO: 16-19 Nov, Westin St Francis
Iain: LAX: LAS: 14-18 Nov: SFO: 18-19 Nov, Mark Hopkins
Stevieboy: SFO: 15-20 Nov
Chuck: LAS: 15-16 Nov: SFO 16-18 Nov
JAT74L: LAX: 16-17 Nov, IC Century City: LAS: 17-18 Nov: SFO: 18-19 Nov, Mark Hopkins
MediaMonkey: LAS 13-19 Nov
Strawberry Muppet: SFO 16-20 Nov
preiffer: Exact movements unknown...

BTW, the A section on the VS020 on the 19th is currently looking empty - save my two seats 6A&K ;) Wonder whether we'll be able to make it exclusively V-Flyer this year?

Crikey Pete, what a dilemma :) There's PE U availability to LAX on Thurs 15th & UC G back from SFO on Mon 19th - all for 87,500 miles. This would be a good itinerary for me as only four days off work needed, problem is that Steve's only got 70K miles at the mo. Maybe he'll let me go it alone ;)

WAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

It doesn't look promising for me to loose my v(flyer)irginity, but there are some M+M flights for PE showing for a reasonable amount.

Maybe next time though. [:#]

Unfotunately it will be a no-no for me as we have just booked for Disney for the 12th December, but no doubt you will all have a great time!

A little steep me thinks. All that and only 1% chance of v-port. Plus I hear it's like a flying stag party.

I did that direct flight last October, and yes, the punters down the back can get a little, er, 'merry'. The bar was closed a couple of hours into the flight, but it didn't stop a couple of lads swigging directly from their bottle of Virgin Vodka whilst standing by the rear doors (and quite obviously both off their trollies!)

The direct flight saves a little hassle in terms of transfers, but I wouldn't want to miss out on the opportunity of flying VX ;)

NP rooms are in the works...just trying to get a group of rates together from different hotels so we can have a cat fight about where to stay again.

How long till we get an HL excuse this time !

Who says I have to give an excuse. Surely "yes" or "no" suffices?
