The Cont_ Nast Luxury Travel Fair 2008 is to be held at Olympia from November 6th to 9th. Advance tickets are 15 but no doubt there will be discount codes kicking around somewhere.

Anyone up for social during and after the event one day?

Hopefully it will be better than the dire Destinations earlier this year.

Would be interesting to see a chart of luxury in the different travel sectors versus the trend of the world economy.

I suspect that luxury travel will be around for a long time yet. Despite the doom and gloom in the news there are still a lot of people with a large disposible income.

In my team at work there are several in their early 40's with no mortgage, no kids and no real commitments.

Has anyone found a working discount code?

It's sponsered by British Airways, so I'm sure they'll email something out to Exec club members.

I've received an email from BA offering two-for-one tickets.

Is it OK to post the code? I don't know if it's linked to Executive Club holders (which is where I heard about the offer)

You can book your tickets online or by calling 0871 230 1091* and quoting ****.
But please note, the box office closes on 4 November 2008.

So who else is up for the Saturday?

I've booked my ticket using the two for £20 offer, so I now have one spare ticket if anyone is interested and wants to save. [:)]

Just trying to decide if I want to make a weekend of it.

The code I got from the BA Executive Club is LT6B, which is Buy 1 Get 1 Free. But I don't know if they ask for an Exec card at the show.

Will be there on the 8th. Would be nice to meet some of you at one of the bars...
