Tower? Restaurant?

OK, quick 'have a think about' question to those who are definitely coming...
Does anyone want to go up that tower thingymajiggy?
I mean this one.
For GROUPS (20 or more), it's just over 10 Euros (minus the % that relates to the '1 free per 20' rule) so if a number of people DO want to go, we should look at booking.
Eurostar have offered assistance with booking restaurants/tower entrance, so prices may well come down further, but I guess we could kind of do with a few ideas first. Personally, I'm up for a Big Mac meal + a beer (as McDonalds serve that there! [y])

Un croissant avec fromage will be fine.
Other than that, I'll be stocking up on sandwiches in Pret at St Pancras.

Another member of the packed lunch club here - only in France can they mark a fish meal as vegetarian! Have already survived a few days in France this year by eating next to nothing.

I blame the fish eaters who claim to be vegetarians

I'm with Pete. Less expensive options for lunch would be much appreciated.
Also, would love to do the tower tour. Thanks!

Ok I've sent the Euro or is it GBP or USD 55 to PReiffer care of some dodgy bank in the Cayman Islands or something ... are we sure there's still no first class Eurostar, they serve endless wine in first and I think I may need it, I'm tremorring at the anticipation of laying myself at the mercy of a whole bunch of mercenary V-Flyers!
That said, Ic annpt read 55 pages or posts or the like, please can someone summarise the day in one mail?????
Ta in advance.
Oh woe [:0]

However I will hold of on posting them until after you all leave for France, I would like to see how close I get to be right. Everyone have a fun time, I am jealous of you all.

Oh heck, it'll be fabulous. As long as lunch has half decent food and a effing good wine list!

That sounds like the perfect menu ... now a Chateau La Fleur Petrus to wash it down with would make that just ideal!
